With Activ8 being the first of it’s kind, we understand that you may have a few unanswered questions. Hopefully our FAQ section will help.
We select 8 creatives for each of our city cohorts.
For the first 4 weeks, the program is online and the remaining 12 weeks is in person. Creatives will be learning in their own cities and are not required to travel.
If you're a city, you should have multiple areas ready to activate along with an activation budget and participation from several city leaders.
If you're a creative, you must have a portfolio and CV that highlights your skill sets and past projects. You will need to have an LLC and be prepared to give this program a full-time effort.
When it comes to partners, we are looking to collaborate with brands in the events, activations and experiential marketing space. This can be agencies or tech companies. We are also looking for sponsors, workshop facilitators and mentors who have years of experience in this industry.
Activ8 is currently in a piloting phase, so it may take some time for applications to open to the public. Join our waitlist and subscribe to our newsletter to be updated on the application process.
"Raise to Rise" is a huge pitch event where creatives who are graduating from Activ8 will pitch their activation to their local community, city officials, corporations, investors and sponsors! In order to rise and shine in your city, you have to have the funding and community support to succeed. "Raise to Rise" will allow the audience to root for their favorite activation by contributing funding and volunteering their time. Whatever you raise, could also be matched by your city.
Activ8 hosts office hours where any and everyone can join these calls and talk directly with our team about the accelerator program. It's a great way to network with other city leaders, creatives and brands as well.
